A quick guide to our wall stickers

Our paper wall stickers feel and look just like traditional wallpaper. The stickers are produced from FSC-certified paper and heat printed with water-based and solvent-free colours. We produce all stickers ourselves in our shop in Helsinki.

Use them for:

  • Clean and even well painted indoor walls

Not suitable for:

  • Outdoor use
  • Wet spaces (paper does not like water)
  • Uneven surfaces

Part 1. Prepare:

If your wall sticker is made of several parts, we recommend you cut the sheet and use masking tape to arrange the stickers on the wall before attaching them. This way you can easily see how your design looks and move things around without unnecessary peeling of the stickers.

Part 2. Attaching the stickers:

Attaching our wall stickers is as easy as eating pie!

  1. Make sure your surface is even and clean
  2. Carefully peel the stickers from the backing sheet
  3. Stick them on the wall
  4. Remove and reposition where needed

Part 3. Removing the stickers:

We recommend peeling off the stickers as carefully and slowly as possible. If the wall is clean and the stickers have been attached for a short time, you are most likely able to reuse them again on another surface.

If it seems that the stickers have got very stuck, you might want to first spray them with water or moisten them with a wet towel. The adhesive is water based, so water will soften it up making removal easier.

Part 4. Problem solving (A.K.A. Help my stickers won’t stick!):

Firstly we want to be very clear, we always make up for any stickers that fail to stick - so no worry, we got your back on this one!

Because there are unlimited combinations of different paints and walls out there, it is very possible that sometimes there will be issues with the stickers not sticking as they should. This is simply because the sticker adhesive needs to be soft enough to still come off easily.

A 3-step plan to rescue the situation:

1. In case the stickers are curling away from the wall, it often helps to remove them and softly bend them the in the opposite direction (inwards) before attaching them again. The adhesive hardens slightly during the first few weeks, making the sticker stick more firmly. This usually fixes the situation, even if we apologise for the extra work involved. You can also test the stickers on a separate wall, to find out if the problem is with the paint/wall or the stickers.

2. If it seems that the stickers won’t stick, no matter what you do - we can replace them with alternative ones that are printed on a latex-saturated paper. This material is slightly sturdier, and often work on surfaces where the other ones have problems sticking. Please contact us for more info.

3. If nothing seems to be working, we are always prepared to make it right with a refund. Please contact us.

If it seems that the stickers have problems attaching to the wall, we usually recommend that you first try to remove, bend, and reattach them. If that does not work, then we will see about replacing or refunding them. We are always here for you, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or doubts!
